Spencer Grammer, an American voice actor, is popular for her performance in the role of Summer Smith in the Rick and Morty animated series. Born and raised in Los Angeles California Spencer is the daughter of actor Kelsey Grammer. At the time, her father was a famous actor and director who had many awards. Spencer was also as an artist. Spencer started studying art history when she graduated at Marymount Manhattan College. She followed her father's example and started acting in the theater immediately after graduating. In 1992, she made her debut acting appearance on a small portion of the TV series Cheers. The series made her debut as an actress in 2004 through the show Clubhouse. She made her debut in 2006 with Beautiful Ohio, a feature-length film. The TV roles she played were superior to the indie films of low budget which she was primarily featured in.
